Tours: The Cottage Plantation is open for tours Saturday & Sunday from 10 am until 4 pm. We are closed on major holidays and all weekdays. Tours are provided to all overnight guests following breakfast.

The tour takes you through the front of the plantation home, featuring many original furnishings.

Then to the original outbuildings. Thomas Butler's law office which later was used as a school room, the milk house where butter and dairy products were made, the old kitchen where everything was cooked until 1951, (the kitchen now houses the antique shop), the carriage house with Thomas Butler's carriage, the smoke house, commissary, tack room and store rooms.

The Cottage is the area's most complete plantation complex with the many original dependencies..
